also what are some things i can do to ease the pain and sleep better?my doctor has me on a prescription but that doesn’t help with the discomfort. any remedies that will help me sleep better?

I have had the burning pain from shingles for the last 7 years. My doctor has tried 12 different pain meds. I have sat in milk and any other kind of remedy I have heard of. Is there something that really works. The pain med. only calms the pain down. Thank you
