I’m still in my 1st trimester and my first out break with shingles was in early February I had it for 3 weeks then it finally went away. What can a pain management doctor give me for shingles. Ive had since july 2008? I don’t have the pain, just irritation of the skin. I cant put on my shirt cause my side tightens so much from the shingles. I have tried all the medicines that my regular doctor prescribed and no luck. So he referred me to the pain medicine doc. Will this pain management doc work?

I’ve had shingles 3 times this year and I think I’m getting them again. It’s extremely painful and I usually get them near my eye. Is there any way to prevent getting them? What is the cause?
I got it first when I was pregnant. Probably due to stress or hormone changes. Not too long after I got it again next to my eye and just a month ago got it there again. All in all I’ve gotten it 3 times in a year.

After 18 months of suffering from the Shingles, it has attacked her nervous system, causing, PHN or Post Hepatic Neurologa. She has tried everything from pain blockers to pain meds and even topical creams. Nothing helps! Can some one with a similiar situation please help her? Please? Thank You!

On my right side from my back all the way around to my stomach is where the shingles broke out. I was wanting to put a tattoo there not because of the shingles but just because i like the location.
